Q. Do you work with Brokers?
A. Yes. A large portion of the clients served by MDB are coordinated through brokers.
Q. How do I request a quote?
A. You may obtain a quote for any group by contacting our sales department at 800-836-4098. The more information you can provide about the group and its dental history, the more accurate our funding factors are likely to be. You may also submit information online at Request a Quote.
Q. Is there a minimum number of employees?
A. No, but our experience is that groups under 10 employees are generally better off self-administering their plans or having you, as the broker, provide that service. We can assist you in setting up these straightforward arrangements.
Q. What is my commission?
A. Only you know the amount of effort you provide on behalf of your client, so we allow you to set your own commission.
Q. Is there a network available?
A. MDB doesn’t use a network. It offers freedom of choice to any licensed provider in the U.S.
Q. Without a network, how do you control costs of the plan?
A. Just like other plans, MDB uses standard cost containment tools such as eligibility, deductibles and co-payments, benefit plan maximums, and limits and exclusions. And, MDB enables the employer to establish a UCR reimbursement schedule that sets the level of payment the plan will authorize on any given claim.
